Green Day– Live 105’s ‘Not So Silent Night’, Oakland CA

What a freakin’ MAGICAL NIGHT. My insides still explode when I think about how close I was to Bush, Mumford, Florence, and Green Day. It’s “HELLA COOL” (that’s what you say in Norcal) that Green Day pulled through as a LAST MINUTE for Jane’s Addiction with just 3 HOURS WARNING. They live in Oakland, so they were local, but still they hadn’t played/practice together in a looooong time and HADN’T TOURED IN YEARS! Such a SIIIIIIICK SURPRISE, and the crowd (HELLA CRAZY) surely MADE IT KNOWN ( I thought I was going to DIE!)…Even Florence squealed when she came out on stage to meet Billy! Too cute.
And, as if the music wasn’t entertaining ENOUGH (solo good), Billy’s facial expression surely were… 😛
